Let’s take a break from the coronavirus panic. As of this time, many people (including me) are laid off or have to stay at home, and it may be a disaster if we do not have a hobby to kill our time. My hubby even joked with me that the possibilities of breakup will increase as social distancing keeps people from interacting with others. I am lucky enough to have a hobby, a very time consuming one, and one that keeps me happy even with the smallest achievement – SEWING!
I actually take this time as a chance to improve my patternmaking skill and sewing skill also. I have a lot of ideas waiting for me to start.
However, I realize that many of my readers are total newbies who can barely sew a straight line. And with their growing interest of making things for themselves and family members, or just killing time, some even emailed me and ask for simple clothing patterns. So I come up with this very practical and easy pattern for you: an easy homewear set with sleeveless top and elastic waist shorts. I’m sure it will be your favorite item when the summer is coming.
This pattern includes a sleeveless top and a pair of shorts. And I think that it can be done with any sewing skill level. Make these with soft cotton or linen, and you will feel like wearing nothing at all – so comfortable and gentle to the skin!
As usual, my pattern is created in PDF format. See the printing guide to print it out in correct sizes.

The pattern comes in 10 sizes from XXS to 5XL. I hope that it will be suitable for most of you!
