I just realize that most of the patterns I posted on this blog are dress patterns, and only a few patterns for other types of garments. It is because I am a crazy fan of fancy dresses, and I love sewing them (and because I think I look better in this kind of feminine clothing). But yesterday a reader asked me to post patterns for tops, pants and skirts, and I found out I was being too ignorant of reader’s need to post mainly dresses.
So today I am sharing a simple pattern for a T-shirt. This is simple enough for those who are new to sewing because it does not have many details – just one front piece, one back piece and two sleeves. For me, I can make such T-shirt in less than an hour.
This T-shirt features a slouchy fit and short sleeves. It is just the type of staple garments that you need to have in your closet. You can make this simple top using jersey fabric, or any kind of soft and a bit stretchy fabric for a comfortable feel. I am thinking of making one with bold tropical print – it will be nice for a holiday by the beach.
This T-shirt is made using European sizing system, so its size range is from size 36 to size 50, you can find your size in this table below:

Again, the pattern is made using layered PDF, please check for your size before printing. If you still do not know how to print a layered PDF, please check for the instruction here.
You can print this using your home printer and A4/Letter paper. I calculated the printing area so that you will be able to use either type of paper to print the pattern out perfectly. Always print the first page first and check if you are printing at the right scale before you print out the whole pattern.
This is how it looks after all pages are printed and taped together:
