As promised with you in the last post, I\nam presenting the easier version of the Laurel palazzo pants \u2013 the Rachel\nelastic waist culottes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I guess you are as excited as I was when\nI first making my own pair of pants. I opted for a simple design with elastic\nwaist and a loose fit to ensure there will be no failure to discourage me in my\nsewing journey. The pants turned out so well that I got carried away and sewed\nmyself and my sister a bunch of those \u2013 in various length \u2013 short, midi and\nlong. They are so easy to make and can be mixed easily with most types of top\ngarments \u2013 camisole for a cozy day at home, T shirt for a walk outside, or a\nbutton down shirt when you go to work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One thing I love more about these\nculottes is that it flatters most body types \u2013 whether you are skinny or\nchubby, you can always find yourself a good pair of culottes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Now let\u2019s dig in to the Rachel elastic\nwaist culottes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These super cute culottes feature a below\nthe knee length, elastic waist and inseam pockets. It is a fool proof beginner\nproject \u2013 which means you are guaranteed to succeed even with very little\nsewing skill!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And what\u2019s more, the Rachel elastic waist culottes are created in 10 sizes from XXS to 5XL, so just look for one that fits you best!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pattern is made using layered PDF,\nplease check for your desired size before printing so you won\u2019t waste your\npaper. I have included a first page with many details about sizing and\nprinting, so please first read the first page and make sure you know what size\nyou need! If you still do not know how to print a layered PDF, please check for\nthe instruction here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can print this using your home\nprinter and A4\/Letter paper. I calculated the printing area so that you will be\nable to use either type of paper to print the pattern out perfectly. Always\nprint the first page first and check with the test square if you are printing\nat the right scale before you print out the whole pattern \u2013 avoid waste of ink\nand waste of paper, save the earth!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some PC may print smaller than actual\nsize even when you choose 100% scale \u2013 I don\u2019t know why this problem exist, but\nmy HP laptop cannot print true to size. I have to scale up to 103% to get the\nright size. You may need to check with your PC to see if it prints true to\nsize, if not, scale up a bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
