It’s been quite a while since my last post. I have been busy with my full time job. You know, making  sewing patterns is just a hobby whenever I have time. I sometimes regret that I did not choose fashion designing as my career when I was younger. If only I could turn back time \ud83d\ude42<\/div>\n

So today I will share with you a very simple, basic pattern: a flared midi skirt.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I bet you all have at least one midi skirt in your wardrobe – it is an essential piece that can be dressed up or down, for day or night, work or play, right? Midi skirt is a timeless style that you can wear from season to season. As versatile as it is, you can mix it with elegant blouse and heels for work, or with T-shirt and sneakers for a stroll around town at weekend.<\/div>\n

The flared midi skirt is just the right choice whenever you want to look graceful and feminine. Make it with floral pattern for a romantic day out, or just a simple neutral color for a minimalist touch. I bet you can find lots of inspiration from hot bloggers – they all have posts of outfits with flared midi skirts.<\/div>\n

The best thing about this dress is that it is super simple to make – you will never have to worry that you will fail in this project even if you are a total newbie. After all, sometimes you need some “comfort” project to build up confidence in you sewing skills \ud83d\ude00<\/div>\n

The pattern is made using layered PDF, please check for your size before printing so you won\u2019t waste your paper. If you still do not know how to print a layered PDF, please check for the instruction <\/span>here<\/span><\/a>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
You can print this using your home printer and A4\/Letter paper. I calculated the printing area so that you will be able to use either type of paper to print the pattern out perfectly. Always print the first page first and check with the test square if you are printing at the right scale before you print out the whole pattern.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
